All advice and information given at the time of sale, is given on a goodwill basis, and is accurate to the best of our knowledge. Motorhome Supplies cannot be held responsible for any changes in the Satellite broadcast systems or footprints. Also, we cannot be held responsible for any other future changes that may affect receiving programmes. broadcasts or viewing cards encryption systems. It is the customers responsibility to check the legitimacy of viewing UK programmes abroad, encrypted or otherwise.

Terms & Conditions

Under the sale of goods act as you purchased your goods from us, we have a legal obligation for any warranty (no other party, manufacturer or otherwise has any legal obligation to you).
Motorhome Supplies Ltd offers the manufacturers standard 3 years warranty on all Oyster and Avtex products. All other products that are not manufactured by Oyster or Avtex, have a standard 12 month faulty materials or labour warranty unless stated otherwise. No warranty covers routine adjustment.

The standard warranty covers any replacement defective parts due to faulty materials or workmanship. There is no warranty on any adjustments or tuning whatsoever, or any component part of the system, not supplied by us, i.e., TV or Sat Box, as the system will have been correctly adjusted and demonstrated to be working at the time of installation.

Final payment to us (which is only made after the system has been installed, correctly adjusted, and demonstrated to the full satisfaction of the customer) will be deemed that the customer has seen the product working and had its use fully explained.

The manufacturer does not cover our labour cost in the diagnosing or replacement of such parts.  Our labour costs for this work are born by us for the whole of the warranty period. If an Oyster Satellite System iis taken to the Oyster importers in Northampton, which may be nearer for the customer (NN6 6HF) there will be no charge for anything covered by warranty, but they may charge for anything else. Motorhome Supplies will not accept any claim for reimbursement of any kind for any monies paid to a third party. The exceptional high quality of our fittings enables us to cover any faults due to the installation, including water ingress for a period of 5 years

Warranty Conditions

The warranty is strictly back to base at Unit 13, Ultramax Business Park, Millfield Road, Horbury, Wakefield, WF4 5FF and applies to the first user only.  The warranty is non transferrable.

If a visit to your premises is required a charge of £1.00 per mile + VAT (our postcode to your
postcode round trip) will be charged.

Anything that is not covered by warranty i.e. routine adjustments, or adjustment to equipment or wiring not supplied and fitted by us will be charged at £75 per hr. Very often we are not able to know in advance if there is any cost involved until we have examined the system to determine if there is a genuine warranty fault that requires a replacement part.  As an alternative to this, an arrangement can be made to meet us at any of the many shows we attend throughout the year, thereby saving the cost of travel.
If it is established over the phone that a replacement part can be posted, we must have the defective part returned to us before a replacement can be dispatched.

Because the reliability, and correct operation of the system is dependent on the installation, should the system be removed from the vehicle for refitting on a new vehicle this work must be done be Motorhome Supplies Ltd or the warranty will be deemed invalid.  This will ensure the fitting on your new van will look as good as your
existing one. Should the fault be caused by anything other than the system supplied by us i.e.. Faulty pre-existing wiring or connections within the van, not installed by us, or incorrect adjustments. tuning or otherwise, will attract a labour charge.
